Paul Laab Garia, a Ghanaian attacking midfielder, has made a move to Sunrise FC, a team in the Rwanda Premier League, signing a two-year contract.
Garia showcased his skills in the Rwandan second league last season, where he stood out as one of the top players. He scored five goals and contributed 16 assists for Gicumbi, although the team fell short of securing one of the two qualification spots. Nonetheless, his impressive performances did not go unnoticed, leading to his transfer to Sunrise FC.
The club has high expectations for Garia, as they look to strengthen their offensive capabilities alongside players like Samson Babuwa and Yafesi Muniru, with the aim of finishing in a prominent position in the league.
Prior to joining Sunrise FC, Garia had previous experience playing for Na Joe Riyals FC, a second division club in Ghana.
